KimTech Equipment Hire Terms

Hire Terms

1. Hire Period

The hire period commences on the day the Hirer receives the equipment and continues for the agreed duration. Extensions can be arranged by contacting KimTech before the end of the current hire period.

2. Hire Fees

Hire fees are charged when the hire commences and can be funded through NDIS plans, insurance, or aged care packages. The fees for each item are listed in the online equipment catalogue. An additional $55 return packaging and delivery fee applies.

3. Equipment Setup

Certain equipment items, such as iPads with installed apps, require setup. A one-hour therapy fee will be charged for the setup of these items.

4. Delivery and Return

KimTech will provide an AusPost satchel with a pre-paid return label for the return of the equipment. The Hirer must retain the original packaging for the return. Alternatively, the Hirer can arrange for a courier pickup by contacting KimTech.

5. Maintenance and Repairs

KimTech covers all maintenance and repairs for incidental damage that occurs during the hire period. The Hirer must notify KimTech immediately if any damage occurs, and KimTech will arrange for a replacement and repair of the damaged item.

6. Non-Returned Items

The Hirer agrees to return all hired items, including accessories such as iPad chargers, at the end of the hire period. Non-returned items will be invoiced for payment. The invoice amount will reflect the replacement cost of the non-returned items.

7. Lost, damaged or Stolen Equipment

If any hired equipment is lost, damaged, or stolen, please notify KimTech as soon as possible. We ask that reasonable care is taken while the equipment is in your possession. You will not be responsible for the replacement costs of lost, damaged, or stolen items. KimTech will arrange replacement of the equipment at no cost to you.

8. Liability

KimTech is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of the hired equipment. The Hirer assumes full responsibility for the safe and appropriate use of the equipment.
